OUR STORY

Anchors Up is a local, family-owned non-profit organization that provides complimentary boat rides on Raleigh's scenic Falls Lake for our treasured community members, groups and organizations. Our 24-foot pontoon-style boat is equipped with:
-
comfortable bench seating
-
a spacious, flat deck for easy access
-
and all the boating necessities to ensure a smooth and safe ride for adults and accompanied kids.
At Anchors Up, we place safety first in everything we do. Our boat captains maintain up to date boating education and safety certifications as required by the NC Wildlife Resources Commission. Volunteer crew members will be available on the day of your outing to ensure a safe, fun and carefree experience. We are currently planning leisurely weekday and weekend sightseeing tours and would love to hear about your organization through our Connection Card. OUR EQUIPMENT
We own and operate a 24-foot Crest V230 Tritoon boat (a "tritoon" boat is similar to a pontoon boat but with a third hull cylinder beneath the vessel for improved stability and a smoother ride). We carry compliant life vests for all passengers (persons under the age of 13 required to wear at all times), a first aid kit and all boat accessories and safety gear required by the state of North Carolina and other jurisdictions as applicable. Safety comes first on all Anchors Up outings. To accommodate availability and scheduling circumstances, Anchors Up reserves the right to use alternate equipment that is fit for purpose and comparable to the specifications outlined herein.
OUR GOAL
Our goal is very simple -- to put smiles on the faces of deserving local groups within our community, such as:

-
community volunteers and those they serve
-
underprivileged families and their accompanied kids
-
persons with intellectual and developmental differences
-
caregivers and those they care for
-
persons in housing assistance, protective services, transition and second chance programs
-
teachers and first responders
-
military spouses/families and veterans
-
persons with physical impairments
-
charitable organizations and those they serve
-
families in resettlement programs
-
senior citizen and church groups
and many more . . .
